Asking for reviews is one of the most effective ways to grow your book’s visibility and credibility. This automation makes it easy to guide your happiest fans to leave reviews on Amazon, helping you build trust and reach more potential buyers.

The automation starts with the tag Start - Ask for a Review . After subscribers are tagged with that tag, they enter the automation. The first step of the automation is a 2 week delay.

After 2 weeks, subscribers are enrolled in a single email automation that asks them how they would rate the book on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

The email will contain a link for each rating:

5 Stars! 🤩

4 Stars! 😃

3 Stars! 🙂

2 Stars! 😐

1 Star! 🙁

If they click 5 stars, the link should send them to a landing page thanking them for their feedback and giving them instructions on how to review the book on Amazon.

If they click less than 5 stars, it should send them to a landing page that just thanks them for their feedback.

• [ ] Set up the landing pages:
  • [ ] Create a landing page for readers who rated the book 5 stars (thank them and provide Amazon review instructions).
  • [ ] Create a landing page for readers who rated the book 4 stars or less (thank them and collect feedback).
• [ ] Set up the Ask for a Review email sequence:
  • [ ] Fill in the subject line and update the placeholder email content.
  • [ ] Add links to each rating option (1–5 stars), pointing to the appropriate landing page.
  • [ ] Add additional emails if desired.
  • [ ] Configure email frequency and cadence (the first email should be set to send immediately).
  • [ ] Click the Publish button for each email.
