This automation is designed to automatically enroll cold subscribers in a re-engagement sequence and unsubscribe them if the don’t re-engage.
Here are just a few benefits of cleaning cold subscribers off your list:
The automation comes in two parts, and they loop every 90 days (or whatever timeframe you set) to continuously check if your subscribers are engaged or not.

Since this tutorial was first published, some changes have been made to this automation and the automation templates.
Three new steps have been added to Part 1 of the automation that don’t appear in the video or the written instructions below.
Each of these steps are Set custom field value actions that update a custom field called status. This custom field should always be set to either active or cold and it allows you to address cold subscribers with conditional content as outlined in the tutorial Displaying a re-engagement banner on broadcasts for cold subscribers.
